The Streetwise Subbie ethos - Most disasters originate from simple causes!

This web site, like the consultancy itself, is based on the simple ethos of  The Streetwise Subbie  (now available in third  edition) and the regular John Russell column in Electrical Times (ie that  most disasters originate from relatively simple causes, rather than from obtuse case law) and that most of such disasters can be avoided by the implementation and maintenance of basic routines in the office and on site.

Good luck – and remember – despite the current fashion for “partnering” and “mission statements”, the leopard doesn’t change his spots, and whilst many “builders” are trying hard to look like pussy cats, just wait until the project falls into trouble!  When that happens, it’s going to be a big help if you’ve been “streetwise”.
